Meal Plan: 9/19 - 9/25

This week's meal plan is going to be an easy one to start with. I'm not trying new recipes or anything fancy schmancy. I will probably end up baking something from Pinterest or one of my favorite food blogs, but for dinners I'm sticking to things we have. Before I go crazy with trying to plan out some new meals and try new things, I need to use up what we have! Also, the hubs is going to be out of town for three days this week so I need to keep it simple! :)
Here it is (and I promise it will get better with time!) :)

Mon 9/19 Chicken Alfredo skillet meal, Artisan bread
Tue 9/20 Meatloaf, baked beans, sweet potato fries
Wed 9/21 Spaghetti & meatballs, Rhodes rolls
Thurs 9/22 Vegetable beef soup, grilled cheese
Fri 9/23 Crock pot taco seasoned chicken tacos, corn, rice
Sat 9/24 Texas de Brazil for birthday dinner
Sun 9/25 BBQ chicken quarters on the grill, mixed veggies

  1. Don't you ever find you have too much food if you cook a meal every single day? I'm afraid we'll waste it if I make that much. You must not have a lot of leftovers?

  2. If I make casseroles, crock pot meals, and things like that I usually do have a lot. But, these particular things won't leave us much left over. When we do have leftovers we usually will have them for lunch the next day. If it's not a lot, Corey will take them to work. If it's a little more, the kids and I will eat them. :)

  3. Oh my Texas De Brazil...I'm jealous! Happy early birthday. Thanks for posting this. I have been keeping up with your meal planning post in hopes that I can get my stuff together and hop on the meal planning train. I printed of a sheet to put on the fridge....I guess I need to go fill it out for the week.

  4. Ooh, sounds yummy! I posted our weekly meal plan on Sunday, and it certainly doesn't look as yummy as yours.

One of our dear friends plans a whole month in advance, and every week they have a leftovers night! We don't tend to eat leftovers very well in our house, so I have been trying to cook in smaller portions.

  5. Wow @ planning for the whole month! I'm not sure I could do that since I change my mind frequently! In fact I already changed something in this meal plan! LOL. Changed hamburgers to meatloaf since we had burgers on Sunday!
