I tested this dress in size 0-3 months for my newest addition and I'm in love with how it turned out! That being said, if you purchase this pattern for your own little lady, I don't recommend making it for anyone who doesn't walk, or at least sit. It doesn't make sense to put a dress on a baby that has to lay down b/c the bow is on the back and that isn't comfortable! Tenderfeet Stitches offers patterns from NB-10 years though, so I understand why it is offered so small. And, let's be honest, pint sized anything is SUPER cute!! My husband actually said how much he loved this little dress and how we need to keep it.... he NEVER suggests keeping ANYthing, so that is huge!
Here is is! I can't wait to make matching dresses for Bailey and Brooke!
I am entering this dress into the So You Think You Can Sew contest over at the Mommy by Day, Crafter by Night blog. This looks like such a fun contest with amazing prizes!!!
That dress is so cute! Good luck at the SYTYCS contest!

ReplyDeleteYour pic on the So You think you can sew contest caught my eye with this adorable dress!!! Nice Job, I love the fabric. I am just starting to make some patterns and plan to get some up on my etsy store. I'm looking for pattern testers if you are interested. Girl dresses mostly for now.

Oh my, I love this dress :) and your little one is oh so precious. I came across your post from the "So you think you can Sew" challenge. I've started a linky party on my blog that focuses on children's crafts, or projects made for children. I'd love to have you come and join us. There's a give away, too.
